Villa Nyland is south-facing and offers an exceptional view of the sea and the island of Port-Cros. It was built in 2021 by the architect Raphaëlle Segond, a former team member of Rudy Ricciotti’s office.
Villa Nyland was selected as one of the "Most popular Holiday Houses" by www.urlaubsarchitektur.com, Europe's leading online portal for exceptional holiday accommodations, in 2023.
The villa offers approximately 180 sqm of indoor space, incl. 3 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, for a total of 6 beds.
The first floor consists of an open plan living area, a dining room with a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with custom-built library, and a master bedroom (1 x 2) with en-suite bathroom and wardrobe. It is surrounded by a large open terrace to the south, a pergola with louvre doors to the West and an intimate outdoor area to the East.
On the garden level there are 2 bedrooms (single beds) with their own bathrooms and wardrobes, a linen room with a washing machine, and a large fourth terrace.
The Nyland villa has a landscaped Mediterranean garden of 1600 m2 with old pine trees, an outdoor shower, and a private garage with parking for 2 cars with possibility to charge an electric car (16A x 220V). The terrain has a south-facing slope, with the garage located at the lower level, and the villa located at +/- 20m higher altitude, reachable by comfortable stairs; cars can't park next to the villa. A mountain bike and a windsurf board are available to guests.
The carbon footprint of the house has been reduced to a minimum, both through the use of specific building materials (Accoya wood) and by means of its equipment (hot water produced by thermal solar panels and heat pump; underfloor heating).
The villa’s windows extend from floor to ceiling. They structure the landscape and invite nature inside. They make the house spacious and full of light.
Delicately furnished with contemporary furniture and lighting, designed by Raphaelle Segond, Maxime Vialar, Peter Zumthor (ViaBizzuno), Claudio Silvestrin (Cappellini), Vincent Sheppard, Vincent van Duysen (Fantini), ...
Located in absolute calm, in a private and guarded estate of 160 hectares. For architecture-lovers and families seeking to spend their summer holiday in unspoilt nature; not available to students and groups.
